Lev has lived in the United States since the age of eleven and has traveled throughout South America, India, Israel, United Kingdom and Western & Eastern Europe. He is a purist and still loves shooting with film. His method is simple; to create just enough of a relationship with his subject so he can capture their story in all its complexity and simplicity.

In his spare time, Lev goes for long runs, cooks, eats, acts and makes movies.
